Your nose is the centerpiece of your face and plays a large role in creating symmetry in your appearance. And just a minor nose reshaping can dramatically alter the look and even the function of the nose.

Nose surgery, known formally as rhinoplasty, is a surgical reconstruction of the shape or size of the nose. Nose reshaping is performed right here in Savannah, Georgia, by decorated plastic surgeon Dr. John Paletta.
A nose reshaping takes between one and three hours at our state-of-the-art outpatient facility and is performed under general anesthesia. Rhinoplasty may be performed as a stand alone procedure or in conjunction with one of our other cosmetic surgeries. Small incisions will be made inside or at the base of the nostrils, and the bone and cartilage of the nose will then be sculpted to the desired shape.
You may return home the same day of the procedure. You may require some assistance with activities of daily living for the next day or two and should avoid any strenuous activities for approximately three weeks. Your stitches will be removed in 7 to 10 days, and you may return to desk work within one week.
